Types of Assistance

The CEFM Network provides four types of assistance:

  1. Food assistance
  2. Utility cut-off prevention
  3. Rental assistance/eviction prevention
  4. Small medical aid assistance

At present, eligible clients may receive one-week of groceries for their family three times a year. Contingent upon the availability of groceries and special circumstances, the Executive Director has the authority to provide additional grocery assistance. During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the CEFM Network provides holiday dinner baskets. If there are young children in the family, Christmas presents are also provided. In August and September, school backpacks and supplies are made available for children entering or returning to school.

If you believe you are in need of assistance, please contact us to discuss your need and how the CEFM Network may be able to help you!
