Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Catonsville Emergency Assistance relies on a generous community of donors like you. We operate frugally and use donations responsibly.

Every gift makes an impact:

  • $500 can provide a week’s worth of groceries for 25 families or can assist a family with eviction prevention;
  • $150 can provide enough canned and packaged food to feed 7 families of 3 – 5 persons or can help keep utilities on for one family;
  • $100 can provide enough poultry and meat for 26 families of 3- 5 persons and
  • $25 can provide enough food to feed a family of 3-5 for one week.

Catonsville Emergency Assistance serves greater Catonsville residents with emergency food and utility turn-off intervention. We rely on a generous community of donors. CEA operates frugally and uses donations responsibly to help our Catonsville neighbors in need.

• FOOD ASSISTANCE

Our current needs for food include: Pancake Mixes • Muffin Mixes • Pasta Sides • Peanut Butter • Potato Sides • Mashed Potatoes • Rice Sides • Cake Mixes • Brownie Mixes • Frosting • Peanut Butter • Canned Chicken Soup • Snacks (cookies, crackers) • Canned Meats (Spam, corned beef, ham, salmon) • Pancake Syrup • Granola Bars • Canned Fruit • Canned Corn • Canned Meals (Chef Boyardee, Stews, Chili) • Tomato Products

• UTILITY CUT-OFF INTERVENTION

Energy costs can place a severe and continuing stress on a family’s budget, and sometimes, the BGE bill just can’t be paid. We provide utility turn-off assistance help to income-eligible residents within our service area. Donate now to help.
