THANKS TO OUR DONORS!

Here's a brief update on how your support has made a difference.  In 2020-2021, CEA was able to: •Provide food assistance to clients to clients 9,300 times •Distribute 200,000 pounds of food •Provide over 8,000 bagged lunches to My Brother’s Keeper & the Westside Men’s Shelter for homeless individuals. All while keeping staff, volunteers and clients safe!

Remembering Bonnie Harry

It is with deep sadness that we share with you the passing of Bonnie Harry, Executive Director of CEA. Our condolences go out to her family and loved ones.
She was an enthusiastic believer in CEA and its mission and was always willing to go to yet one more speaking engagement to talk about CEA and share our work of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Bonnie loved nothing more than being hands-on with all CEA activities from picking up food and loading into the CEA van, to packing lunches for individuals at the Westside Men’s Shelter and helping My Brother’s Keeper, to working with individual clients needing eviction help. Before COVID, our Christmas in July fundraising efforts were always over the top with a Christmas tree, lights and decorations adorning the building that Bonnie brought from home. And whether family member or friend, you could count on being recruited to help CEA process food donations.
She will be deeply missed by all of us at CEA.
