Bonnie J. Harry, Executive Director
Bonnie J. Harry, RN is CEA’s Executive Director. She has an extensive management background in the health care field. A registered nurse by training, she worked in West Baltimore for more than 30 years, and has owned several businesses. Her guiding principle is to deliver compassionate quality care with respect for every person served. She and her husband live with her father and two miniature dachshunds. When she’s not working, Bonnie likes to golf, travel and is interested in calligraphy. She’s begun fly fishing thanks to grandson Brandon’s teaching of casting techniques. Tyler, her other grandson, keeps her “tech” skills up to date.
Edie E. Jones, Program Assistant
A native of Pennsylvania, Edie moved to Maryland to attend St. Agnes Nursing School. She practiced nursing at St. Agnes Hospital for 45 years. She loves spending time with her family including her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Edie is involved in a variety of community and church activities. Before becoming the program assistant, she volunteered at CEA for 5 years and is very familiar with CEA, our clients and volunteers.

• UTILITY CUT-OFF INTERVENTION

Energy costs can place a severe and continuing stress on a family’s budget, and sometimes, the BGE bill just can’t be paid. We provide utility turn-off assistance help to income-eligible residents within our service area. Last year we helped 22 families keep their utilities on. There are always more requests than we have funds to help. Donate now to help.

• EVICTION PREVENTION ASSISTANCE

Families facing immediate eviction because they are behind in paying their past due rent have a limited number of places to turn for help. We provide assistance to income-eligible residents within our service area. Last year we helped 36 families remain in their homes. The need is great for this short-term relief service. Donate now to help.
