Who We Are
Catonsville Emergency Assistance serves greater Catonsville residents with emergency food, eviction prevention, utility assistance and service referrals. We are located at 25 Bloomsbury Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. We are open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to serve clients by appointment and to receive donations.

In 1984, a generous woman named Alice March started a food pantry in her basement, which eventually became Catonsville Emergency Assistance. That eventually became Catonsville Emergency Assistance. Over the years, with the continued support of many local churches and organizations, it has changed names and locations to accommodate an increasing need.
In addition to food assistance, CEA has grown to deliver additional services, including utility assistance and eviction prevention assistance. CEA marked its 40th year of serving the Greater Catonsville community in 2024.
Caitlin has been a Catonsville resident for almost two decades. She was a Communications Consultant to local businesses and nonprofits, specializing in social media marketing and events and former Assistant to the Executive Director of the Catonsville Chamber of Commerce.
She is thrilled to serve in the role of Executive Director of Catonsville Emergency Assistance working in the community that she loves.
